The philosophy of Eco Soul Enviro
Ecology is part of our lives and connected to our souls. The relationship of our soul with ecology is natural. We need to understand how well we are dealing with ecology to define that relationship by studying ecology and how our behaviour and actions change the relationship by disturbing the ecological equilibrium. Various rituals and traditions in different societies, communities, and religions are very carefully designed to bring ecologically equilibriums in place. We barely understand them, and without understanding, we cannot follow the rituals and traditions.
Most of our rituals and traditions are closely associated with our ecology. For example, plants and trees that supply oxygen 24/7 or trees that have high medicinal value like Amla and Neem are included in our worship. The keystone species, which are not only important for ecological equilibrium but they are also important for human beings, are linked with our rituals and festivals. Traditionally,, they were carefully chosen after knowing their value and importance for our existence and survival.
Do we understand the science behind these rituals and traditions? Most of us do not know. Some festivals are associated with the harvesting of crops. A few are linked with biodiversity and so on. There is a need to understand the science behind our traditions, rituals, and festivals and their relationships with nature. At EcoSoul Enviro, we design solutions which are nature-based, sustainable in nature, and easy to maintain. The concepts were picked up from our traditions and from observing nature closely. Each solution is site-specific after a detailed study.
Our Motto
To carry on the business of nature-based solutions in the field of environment conservation and protection by providing site-specific solutions including designing, manufacturing, and installation of systems (including supply of technical equipment, essential materials, apparatus, associated articles, and other necessary things), their operation and maintenance, and knowledge transfer.
To conduct green research to produce knowledge products, organize learning and education programmes, campaign, design and develop knowledge products, and supply to generate awareness on nature-based solutions.
To accomplish all associated works and things necessary or convenient for providing quality services, which include procuring, obtaining, storing, selling, delivering, measuring and distributing technologies, equipment, materials and services with respect to nature-based solutions, environmental sustainability, green financing and green livelihoods.

Our Projects
Project Implemented Eco Soul Enviro Pvt Ltd is a pioneering environmental consultancy committed to sustainable development, ecological restoration, water conservation, climate change education, and impact evaluation. Our work spans scientific research, capacity building, public awareness, and policy advocacy, with a strong focus on community engagement and participatory approaches.
1. Environmental Awareness & Public Outreach
▪ Eco Soul Enviro actively promotes environmental education and awareness through publications and public engagement initiatives.
▪ Published a booklet and posters on greywater management, educating citizens on household wastewater impact.
▪ Produced an awareness video on greywater pollution and its consequences.
▪ Organized the Indore Environment Festival (IEF), a first-of-its-kind event promoting urban environmental conservation.
▪ Co-hosted the National Conference on Urban Biodiversity Conservation, leading to the Indore Declaration, a key policy recommendation shared with the State Government.
2. Climate Change Research & Capacity Building
▪ Eco Soul Enviro is dedicated to climate resilience and ecosystem sustainability through training programs, education tools, and policy development.
▪ Conducted training courses on climate change impact for practitioners working in arid and semi-arid regions.
▪ Developed educational materials on climate change and forest conservation, including comics, board games, and student diaries, distributed at the Mogali Utsav.
▪ Designed a course on greywater management in collaboration with Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI), Bhopal, training engineers from MGNREGA and Swachh Bharat Mission.
3. Ecological & Water Resource Management
▪ Eco Soul Enviro plays a crucial role in natural resource conservation and ecological restoration projects across India.
▪ Conducted the Shivgrah Baseline Study for the Forest by Heartfulness (FBH), assessing 888 hectares of degraded land in Madhya Pradesh.
▪ Led a baseline study on sustainable livelihoods in tribal regions of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with the Development Support Centre (DSC) and the Azim Premji Philanthropy Initiative.
▪ Evaluated the Marudhar mein Jal Swavlamban Project, a European Union-funded initiative, which revived water bodies in 350 villages of Rajasthan and empowered women-led water governance groups.
4. Impact Evaluation & Research
▪ Eco Soul Enviro conducts impact assessments of large-scale environmental projects to measure effectiveness and improve future strategies.
▪ Carried out an impact evaluation of the Integrated Watershed Development Project in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, assessing its environmental sustainability and effectiveness.

4. Zig-Zag Natural Filter: Solution A gravity-based filtration canal that leverages gentle slopes, steps, and natural oxidation to treat greywater as it flows through a stone-pitched channel. This method enhances water quality while ensuring a natural, self-sustaining filtration process.
5. Green Filter Ponds: Specially designed ponds with strategically selected aquatic plants that filter and clean limited volumes of wastewater. This solution provides sustainable water purification while preserving biodiversity.

According to Water.org, less than 1 percent of the water on Earth is readily available for human use, meaning it is fresh — rather than salty — and reasonably clean. Salt can be removed from abundant seawater through desalination. Still, this process is expensive enough that it is rarely used as an ongoing, practical solution for water scarcity issues.
